Sunshine of the Soul
At times I allow you to see some participation of My Goodness in yourself, and it is good for you to see this — it refreshes your soul and gives it a glimpse of the ultimate triumph of My Goodness over your malice. This is the sunshine of your soul — and I let you realize at such times too, not only My Goodness and My Love of you, but I allow you to experience My children's love of Me in you. And then, because you are not yet perfectly purified in Me, your Father, little by little this joy in Me turns to joy in yourself — then your soul begins to grow uneasy because you realize that of yourself you would move away from Me Who am Your only Love. And it is then that your soul is covered with darkness and you feel separated from Me, as though I no longer loved you. It is at such moments that I want you, in the Strength of My Holy Spirit, and with My Beloved Son, to cry out in Me: "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?"
Pray very much for the strength to do this, to believe in My Love enough to cry out to Me when I allow you to see nothing but corruption in yourself. By this fortitude, trusting in My Love when you are all corruption to yourself, you will win grace for other souls who have no trust in My Love, and who, therefore, when they see the evident signs of evil in themselves, would otherwise abandon themselves to sin and to the Devil, and thus be lost forever, were it not for your love and confidence.
My beloved child, if you could but know the infinite depth of My Paternal Love for you when you call on Me at such moments! When you open your heart to Me at those times, I am like Isaac — I hear your voice and recognize that it is not the Voice of My Firstborn — but then I feel your hairy skin with which your Mother, the Mother of Jesus, clad you — the skin which symbolizes the sins borne by My Son — and I become blind, and I know you only as My very Firstborn, My only-Begotten One!

 If You Look Into Yourself
If you look into yourself, you will see that what disturbs you, at bottom, is always one sign or another of your corruption, your inclination to sin, your helplessness in yourself. Your anxiety arises from not knowing how to face this, what to do about it. And then you try, without realizing it, to convince yourself that you have an integrity — which you know you do not have. In this way the anxiety grows because My Spirit of Truth in you will not permit you to live in a lie, to rest in it.
All this misery, wasted and sinful suffering, happens because you do not know and understand My Merciful Love, that I permitted sin to come into the world, that I permitted your sins, only to teach you how much you depend on Me, how without Me you can do nothing, to teach you that it is only your very contact with Me at this moment which makes you worthy of My Love, nothing else – and you have this contact with Me only in My Mother. That is why we say to you "Come over to Me, all ye who desire Me." There is no other requirement, only to desire Me. Then you will be filled with My fruits, the beautiful acts which proceed from My Integrity and the integrity of My Mother — and which become your fruits as you are in Us.
Then, too, you will pursue the Truth and not the lie of your own goodness. You will know that I alone am Good, and you will know that My Goodness is yours in the measure that you permit the Father, through Me, to give it to you, in the measure that yo truthfully open your heart to Me, to the Father in Me, in the knowledge of your own misery.
And this, moreover, is not something to do once merely.  No! For you are a creature whose existence is in time, and therefore this act of love, of opening your heart to My Heart, in the knowledge of My Goodness and your misery, must be renewed with each breath.

The power of God does not 'overcome' temptations — they dissolve in His Love. When do they dissolve?  When the soul has learned to receive His Love in the midst of the temptation — when the soul has become a little child who no longer looks for peace and security in its own strength. Jesus loves children because He is the Truth and only little children are true. How are they true? In their simplicity which expects everything, yes everything, from the Father.
Charity Sees No Evil
Charity sees no evil because charity is in principle the Love proper to God Whose Love does not love a pre-existent beauty, but Whose Love creates the beauty that He loves.
And so it is with us — we love a soul in Jesus, not for what it is in itself, but for what He made it to be. And this love is a prayer which moves Jesus to create the beauty of a soul which we see and love in Him. When we have cast out the beam of self-love from our own eye, we see that Jesus has done this to us, and that He loves us only for the beauty He sees in Himself and Mary — and then we know how to heal our neighbor, as we are healed, with love, not our love, but His. "Love one another as I have loved you."
The Redeemer’s Call to Consecrated Souls
(excerpt from an ecclesiastically approved locution revered
by the author behind this website)
“See most particularly the child in every soul, a potential Jesus, a Jesus to be realized, a Christ to be engendered so that the circle of the Father’s great family may be widened. Work of love that inspires pity and compassion because this potential Jesus in every soul in some way is a Jesus in peril, a Jesus exposed to contradiction, attacked, oppressed by thousands of enemies stirred up by my great enemy, Satan.
A Jesus awaiting deliverance therefore, well-deserving of attracting a mother’s compassion, who thus sees in each soul a Jesus to be saved, a Jesus to be freed from the foe’s captivity, a Jesus to make flourish in some way, a Jesus to be raised up,  an ascension of life rising from the depths of a life created in the divine image. And finally, a Jesus to be offered to the Father.”

Only the Fortitude of God Enables a Soul to Do What God Wants
Only the strength, the fortitude of God, enables a soul to do what God wants.  It is only in loving Jesus that His fortitude is ours. When we interrupt our act of love, then we drop back into our own understanding, our own strength — which can only bring us to calamity. "Without Me you can do nothing."
Therefore, when you have failed, when you have sinned, it was because you were not with Me. That is the meaning of sin, to teach you never to leave Me, never to let go of My Hand.
After you have sinned, then, knowing that I permitted that sin only to teach you this, and paid for it with My Blood, come to Me quickly, with total confidence, in the knowledge that I want you infinitely more than you want Me. Now, in the realization of your misery and My Goodness, is the moment to grow in My Love — by allowing Me to comfort you, to give you My Heart.

The Act of Love Is Everything
The act of love is everything because it opens the soul totally to the Love of Jesus. Then the soul does what He wants because it is in contact  with Him, thinking as He thinks, willing as He wills — caring about nothing else, a lily among lilies, where Jesus feeds, where He takes His delight.

I Am the Thought of the Father
When you are not actually considering My Love, you are not actually loving Me. Do you know why? Because I am the Thought of the Father, and just as the Holy Spirit of Love proceeds from the Father through Me, so it is that in your actual thought of the Father's goodness in Me, your love arises to the Father, moved by that same Spirit.

I Cannot Change; Only Creatures Change
I cannot change; only creatures change. So if your happiness depends on what can change, it does not depend on Me Who am Unchangeable.  Besides, the one thing that you need now, is the thing that you have.
